...who served a single term in the Cleveland City Council and one full term as State Senator (a seat to which she was originally appointed), is this generation's Shirley Chisolm, who was the FIRST African American elected to Congress and served seven terms?

Instead of gratefully accepting that "compliment", if she herself knew the historical significance of Shirley Chisolm, she would have corrected Michael Render on the spot.

Chisolm was an amazing woman who accomplished a great deal in the real world. Chisolm has some real accomplishments.

of the Democratic candidate in the 2016 General Election. Trump won that election in part, because of stubborn, small minded, self centered folks.
