Maddow on Biden's 2016 DNC speech: Biden "a force of nature," no other politician in her lifetime

"who pulls off that kind of emotion and enthusiasm and authenticity the way that Joe Biden does."

Editing to add that Maddow said Biden is "a force of nature on an average Tuesday morning, but you give him a stage, you give him a platform like this..."

and now I'm trying to remember if she's ever had that strong a reaction to any other speeches.

Btw, I found that MSNBC clip by accident while searching YouTube for a video clip of Biden at the NAACP convention today, searching for keywords

I'm honestly not sure why this clip from 2016 showed up then, about halfway down the first page of search results -- I can't find the NAACP mentioned anywhere on the page with the video -- but I'm glad it did.

Was widely stated in the media President Obama underperformed in his debate with Romney and the polls sort of reflected it. Ryan was considered a technocrat who was going to hit Biden on the details even more so but by the end he was like a schoolboy wanting to take his ball and go home.

I hope to see him improve on the debate stage. Truly.

Even though my top pick isn't Biden, I would like to see him and the other top people running as blockbuster candidates. We have to pull out all the stops for 2020.
