It is my firm, honest opinion that Sanders has next to zero chances of winning the GE. crazytown Jul 2019 #7

And puts everything he has behind the nominee.

Yes, that would be nice.

My momma used to say "people in Hell want ice water" and "if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt all the time". In other words, when anyone has spoken with so much contempt and hostility about Democrats and the Democratic party... and when the party is smeared and denigrated and falsely accused of being "corrupt" or "feeble" or "ideologically bankrupt"... I think it's highly unlikely that the candidate can expect full-throated and sincere support from that person (no matter who he or she may be).

I think he will fund raise through the convention coming up with some lame excuse and the gullible will keep writing checks.

Then off his loss, other groups like Justice Democrats, Our Revolution and a myriad of others will start fund raising using the same list as BS all the while insinuating that somehow the nomination was stolen from BS.These other groups will then advise the faithful to not vote or vote for Jill Stein.

I have seen this movie before

Edited to correct Jill Stein's name

Even Gillibrand would be better placed. If I did not believe this, I would be prepared to set aside differences from the 2016 GE. Donald Trump has put the republic at risk. I will support anyone with decent prospects of throwing him out. But IMO, that is not bernie.
