Bernie would be the most interesting alternative but he is too ornery; too many imponderables on how he would respond in a GE and much less likely to bring enough votes together and make things happen if he won than Warren.

Not seeing how a career prosecutor makes sense when the main challenge is the economy.

Biden would be a little better but I see turnout issues with him.

So Buttigieg it is.

It seems to be Biden at this point, but polls can change.

Hillary Clinton was significantly behind McCain in hypothetical general election polls between them in 2008, whereas Obama was significantly ahead of him.

I supported Obama.

For this cycle, the calculus would be unique:

I will allow Warren supporters to share their view. As for Sanders, having a woman is essential. Bernie's foreign policy bona fides are stronger than during his first run for the White House but he would do well to consider Obama's math from 2008. Delaware was a lock for the Democrats yet he chose Biden. I liked his choice for many reasons but, at the top of the list, were Biden's many, many years of foreign policy experience in the Senate.

Other Sanders supporters may think me crazy but I feel that Hillary would be the best choice. She would help voter turn-out in Arkansas but, most importantly, voters will know from her track record as Secretary of State that she would mend global fences because she did so for Obama. Given the degree of damage tЯump has caused on the international stage, having WJC in the inner sanctum would make him yet another option for special diplomatic projects, too. I wish Obama had used him more.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided
