He is so good, so smart, so eloquent, but I do think he needs at least four more years in public office, maybe eight to give the next Democratic president the full time in office, then Pete will be a powerhouse. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a powerhouse today, but imagine how he will be in eight years?

Of the so-called (and poorly moderated and poorly organized) “debate.”

I see lots of commentary about his “needing more seasoning,” but to me it’s obvious that he is just what we need NOW. THIS is his moment. He already has the Right Stuff, and he is already ready to be president (or as ready as anyone could be to be, for no one can be fully ready), he has fresh, broad, and insightful perspective on the issues, and he outshines everyone (and this is so needed in the next president) in his emotional maturity and centeredness.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

538 Polls

If you look at Head-To-Head, Dolt45 leads 4-6 points
Jul 27-29, 2019 Emerson College 1,233 Buttigieg 48% 52% Trump Trump +4
Jul 24-27, 2019 UTexas at Tyler 1,414 Buttigieg 33% 39% Trump Trump +6

The interesting thing about 538 polls, is if you look at all Head-To-Head polls against Dolt45 in both polls,
the Dem candidate leads except for Buttigieg behind in both polls (see above)
Harris behind by 3 in one poll ahead by 1 in another,
Warren is even in 1 poll and ahead by 3 in another
Biden is even in 1 poll and ahead by 2 in another.

Conclusion?
In my opinion these polls show, at this time, that the US is not willing to vote for Gay or Women or especially African American Women as president.
I hope these polls are wrong, or maybe they'll sort themselves out when some candidates start dropping out.

I am by far no expert, just how I'm interpreting these numbers.

Man this guy is wonderful. If I could wave a wand and pick a president myself, I'd have the hardest choice between Senator Warren and Pete Buttigieg.

However, I'm sticking with my personal methodology for support.. Ignoring the nation wide polls (which indicate a popular vote candidate) and focusing on the vs Trump matchups in the key swing states of Pennsylvania/Wisconsin/Michigan/Florida/Arizona.. and to some extent even Texas now that Biden showed so well there. If I start seeing a trend where a President Buttigieg is a real challenge to Trump in those states, I may well change over support.

It's getting harder and harder for me to stay onboard with Beto. Pretty much sticking for now because, despite the last Texas match-up polling, I do still believe he is the BEST chance of getting Texas to flip, especially when running in tandem with MJ Hegar for Senate here.. but unless polling starts shifting, I'll have to go over to Biden. Removing Trump is the only thing that REALLY matters!!! The swing states, not the popular vote is what matters!!

In a matter of seconds, Buttigieg transformed this debate into a forum for sending a message that the entire country needed to hear. It was brilliant.
