It's a debate and she brought up an issue of importance to her and many others. Also, she actually gained in the polls after that "attack".
Biden isn't untouchable and if he's our nominee, he should appreciate being battle tested through these debates. I appreciate the Biden tonight more than the Biden in the first debate. The Harris "attack" I would say actually helped Biden improve his debate performance. We need a fighter. Donald Trump is a mudslinger. The real battle will be against Trump. No time for hurt feelings.

I do think Gabbard thinks Biden will win and she thinks she can nab a job in his administration. She's been telegraphing she wanted to go after Harris for weeks now.

so I mean I suppose she could briefly hit 2.

But she's not the first or second or even third story tonight.

Heck she's not even the fourth story.

Biden
Harris
Booker
Warren

Those are the top four most talked about things. Gabbard is mentioned only in that she attacked Harris, not for anything she actually did for herself.

So if her mission was to temporarily harm Harris, maybe...we will see. I doubt it last long...things will settle back to status quo like they did after the last debate more or less and the top four will remain the top four with Buttigieg fifth. Possible she and Buttigieg slightly swap positions but that's about it.

Booker will rise. Warren will rise. Biden and Bernie probably stabilized. Castro probably gets to two percent now.

Gabbard? No one is going to remember anything other than her attack on Harris, and that won't be remembered in a few weeks as we move on to something else.

No one is talking about her, they are talking about Harris...or Biden...or Booker...or how this was good for Warren...or how no one has broken out yet...or about attacking Obama.

Even though I am not a Biden fan really, I think he did way better this time. He didn't do negatively. I found Booker insincere when he tried to puff out his chest against Biden. I think Biden was chipped away at by everyone which really gave dragged him down but there wasn't a true take down by anyone. Harris couldn't do what she did to Biden again but she tried.
