California Senator and Democratic presidential candidiate Kamala Harris is introducing a bill to federally decriminalize marijuana. CBS News campaign reporter Stephanie Ramirez spoke to CBSN's Reena Ninan about the plan.

The bill requires federal courts to expunge prior convictions and adds a 5% tax to fund job training and educational programs.

Legalizing recreational marijuana would create new companies, jobs and taxes to build the economy. By the way, Yang appeared to be nothing short of a genius, during the debate; but I don't think he has a chance of winning the Democratic nomination.

it legalized (and taxed) for those who choose to do so. We need not only the revenue, but also the cost savings from this nonsensical war on drugs that has been going on for way too many decades.

As for Yang..... Never say Never.
