At the end of yesterday debate - do not remember Tuesday - each candidate concluded by giving the web address. All, have the .com while Harris is .org.
Why is that?
(Yes, Biden gave his twit account, I think. At least he was different.. )

On edit: kamalaharris.com redirects to .org. That TLD could have been obtained AFTER her .org site was launched.

Dot Net typically is the next best for private entities, Dot Org has usually been associated with government, universities and schools, news organizations, charities and think tanks.

Dot edu is also common for schools, universities, etc.

org is the abbreviated form of organization.
Anyone can now register a .org domain. You do not have to submit any documentation or any proof that you are a non profit or otherwise.
It can also help to ensure that your brand and trademark associated with your business name is well protected by registering across this and other top level domain names.
