Harris should have asked Gabbard

You have stated, in no uncertain terms, that you believe Donald J. Trump did not collude nor obstruct justice regarding Russian interference of our elections.
What has led you to these conclusions?

and if the new Morning Consult poll is any worth, Gabbard didn't move up, and Harris is still fourth.

And if by magic Gabbard just slides into the Sept debates, so most certainly won't make the round after that.

I'm just looking forward to the top five debating and that's it...that's when the real debates begin.

And there are going to be a lot of them. She is excellent at deflecting and moving on.

8. Aboslutely the wrong tack...then she looks like she can't explain it and the media will be only to

happy to fill the void. She should address it. I promise you it will be brought up in the next debate by desperate lower tier candidates and political operatives who work for her opponents.

9. Not a chance. If she starts addressing each one it will be her whole campaign.

She should deflect and move on from each one. Biden should do the same. It's not only the right tack, it is exactly what many of the most successful politicians do. No way Harris should be answering to shots Gabbard or anyone else sends her way. Return fire and move on.

Biden would spend the next twenty years explaining himself if he took the "tack" you state.

4. Gabbard has an easy out on that one if she wants it.

AFAIK (correct me if I'm wrong), the comment that sparked your post was a single video/statement that she put out, which does look awful. But someone here pointed out that the date of that statement was before the full report we release, it was right after Barr's non-summary summary. As I said in that thread, that means that she did that video on the assumption that the Barr memo was accurate. To be fair, most of the media was (stupidly!) assuming at the time that it was accurate as well. In that context, Gabbard's video there was not as troubling as it would be now.

She’ll be asked about it again, best to have a solid defensive when it comes up again.
