Right now, I believe Biden can do that. With a young VP at his side whatever happens after a first term will sort itself out. But right now we need to beat Trump with a Democratic nominee ready to restore what's broken so we can actually move forward. The gutting of governmental infrastructure, domestically and foreign policy wise, is serious and will require a seasoned hand to turn around.

So, no the prospect of one-term Democratic president does not worry me. Trump in office for another 4 years worries me to death.

I would hope the candidate ran vigorously for a second term, tho… Elizabeth would be quite old, also, after two terms... but women have a longer lifespan, so I'm not worried about her losing any sharpness. When we have more female Presidents, I expect many will serve into their 80s.
