Anderson Cooper 360 tweets with VIDEO CLIPS OF THE BIDEN INTERVIEW tonight
So far I have NOT been able to find the complete interview anywhere.
Just have the tweets below.
The first two tweets here, though separate tweets, are apparently the same video clip -- just tweeted separately to emphasize different points:

The rest of the interview, including the amazing final section where Biden is offering emotional advice on grieving to families of shooting victims.

(297,229 posts)1. "Eventually, what will take you through is purpose."
Former VP Joe Biden offered emotional advice on grieving to families of shooting victims, speaking with @andersoncooper in deeply personal terms as he reflected on the family tragedies he's endured.
It's so unbearably hard.

He gives much of himself in that last segment. He is the polar opposite of trump.

(41,832 posts)5. I watched the last one. Imagine Trump quoting Kierkegaard
Such a contrast to the ass in the White House now. He is so compassionate and smart too. He will make a great President.

Speaking to those whove endured unimaginable loss, Biden said, Find a purpose, something that matters, particularly if its something connected to the loss you just had. . . . I get up in the morning and I think to myself every morning, is [Beau] proud of me? Am I doing what he wants? And Im sure that its the same way with you and a whole lot of other people.
He added that at a moment there will come a time when you think of the person you lost, and it takes a long while. But youll get a smile before you get a tear, and thats when you know youre going to make it. And so many people have gone through what Ive been through without the help I had.
Often chided for gaffes, Biden, we see, can be downright profound when discussing loss. Wrapping up, he explained, Sometimes its really dark, but there is hope. And think about what it means for those family members you have left they need you. They need you. And look, folks, thats why I think that it matters the stories of these people, for the public to understand that this is not just a statistic. This is this is who we are, who they are. I mean, its a and it really is about, you know, sort of reweaving that social fabric that holds a society together honesty, decency, hope, leaving nobody behind, giving hate no safe harbor.
