Since the Russian goal is to sow discord in America

It makes sense that they would push a candidate from each party. It is still too soon for me to tell which "democratic" nominee is the Putin pick but look out for it. It may not be as obvious as you think.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

...their goal was to elect Donald Trump, re-elect Donald Trump, and promote candidates that will help achieve that and denigrate candidates that will not.
