26 percent of Democrats

Of 304 Democratic governors and congresspeople, only 26 percent have endorsed a presidential candidate, a number which has grown only very slowly since a spate of endorsements early this year. Something similar was true for the large Republican field in 2016, and it’s “possible that, once again, endorsements may prove to be a less useful indicator when predicting who might win the nomination,” my colleague Geoffrey Skelley writes. 1. I think it's still too early for any serious

endorsements to be happening.

For one thing, this field of 827 potential candidates is going to be winnowed down at some point. And won't an endorser be looking pretty silly at the third or fourth or tenth endorsement?

2. I've never really thought endorsements mean that much.

Oh, they are exciting, but the only real 'endorsement' that counts is a majority of votes - winning the election.

3. Wonder how many of those

are in the same camp I'm in; too many good candidates right now. I support Biden, Sanders, and Warren. I'd have to answer not sure about my preference.

Edit: I have sanders listed in my sig line because he was my early preference. I'm lazy and having changed it.
