But I'm trying to use this time to start a new company, so I have little extra time and even less money. Maybe next year I can afford to repair my fence in preparation for some new dogs. That would be awesome.

She passed away last year at 16.5. Miss her desperately. Have too many health issues-- and fear of predeceasing a dog-- so hearth and heart remain empty of canine love. So sad.

13. I've adopted 2 dogs whose owners had died

Actually, that was the first pic I ever posted on DU, my two dogs together. I didn't know how, so another kind DUer posted my pic for me. Sheena was large for a cocker spaniel and Meneken was an 8 lb. Brussels Griffon, 8 and 9 years old when they found me, and they immediately became the best of friends from the day I brought the little guy home.
