Amy Klobuchar has been the most productive 2020 candidate in Congress

Axios

While Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the presidential candidate who's known for her robust set of policy plans, Sen. Amy Klobuchar is the one who's been the most prolific at her day job, introducing the most bills of any senator or House member running for president, according to data from Quorum.

The big picture: She's also introduced more bills than any senator, whether they're running for president or not. But that hasn't worked to her benefit in a primary that has incentivized maximum resistance and bold ideas that likely wouldn't become law in a divided government. She is polling at just 1%.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. Introduced bills that got nowhere under McConnell?

I like Klobuchar.
But “introducing bills” isn’t productivity. Passing them is.

And people like Warren and Sanders and other presidential candidates out there advocating to change our politics so we CAN pass bills in 2020 are arguably being more productive.

Edit: Axios stinks. It’s for-profit tripe, the worst of DC, “savvy-style”, insider garbage.

15. Almost nothing. Because Repubs control the Senate.

And the Senate is busy confirming rightwing ideologues as judges.

This is a national crisis. There is no working with today’s Republican Party. The party must be massively defeated if we want to “be productive”.

should be pretty much a piece of cake. Strikes me that there is some point where you could look foolish like you are beating your head against the wall? On the other hand, what are you going to just sit there?

Guess if people spurn compromise...this is the result. Not saying we should..but if we don't, nothing will happen.

"No human being works harder than Amy Klobuchar. If Amy wasn't at a bean feed I went to, then her husband, John Bessler, and their daughter, Abigail, were there. If John and Abigail weren't there, Amy's father, Jim Klobuchar, the beloved Star Tribune columnist, was there. If none of them were there, I wondered, 'Why am I here?'"
