Elizabeth Warren: Surprising champion of capitalism speaks out
https://www.commdiginews.com/business-2/elizabeth-warren-progressive-capitalism-champion-117398/

The GOP has ALWAYS called our Dem nominee a socialist. Warren explains better than anyone, and in simple, common sense language, that she is a capitalist with plans to make it work for EVERYONE instead of for just the fewest who benefit from today’s predatory capitalism.

Time for the lazyminded fearmongering to end. Those in both parties who espouse it are demonstrably wrong.

America has turned its middle class into an economic no-man’s land, where all the worst of our brand of capitalism converges. The stagnant incomes, the runaway housing, health care, child care and education costs, the consumer debt with its usurious costs, the lack of savings and retirement security. Warren is the candidate who gets the desperation and knows how to tackle the underlying problems. If you think Trump was a one-off, let this stuff fester for another decade then see what happens. But she’s too left! Inane.

And she excels atmaking that case and winning that debate. The fact that we have a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is proof of that.

Some of our Dems need to stop swallowing the socialism narrative the GOP cooks up for them every election. They really look uninformed and too incompetent to combat the lie with the facts.

And, especially, how it SHOULD work for ALL Americans, including them. Which is why I have no doubt that, once heard nationally, the middle class and working class will fully get that there is only ONE candidate who wants THEM and their families to benefit from a government that works for them to benefit from capitalism, too.

...we have to win for any of it to happen. So far, I don't think Warren stands a chance. It has to do with her rhetorical style. She is able to channel deep concern for people and anger at economic stupidity, arrogance, predation, and cheating. She is a care-er and a fighter, no question. But she doesn't respond well to bullying so far.

I don't think it's her principles. Having principles is no excuse for not correctly and successfully fighting a bully. Trump calling her "Pocahontas" and her not having a devastating bunch of rejoinders (I can think of a lot of them myself) shows she might be expecting the American people to fight for her rather than she for them.

All the plans in the world won't do anything if a bloviating orange numbskull can humiliate you with childish putdowns. Warren has to learn how to take command. She needs to learn some good ways to tell Trump to shove it and humiliate him.

Biden, Buttigieg, Ryan, Gabbard, and Williamson show how it's done. Pelosi shows how it's done. Jennifer Granholm, Jennifer Rubin, and Ana Navarro show how it's done. Warren needs to go there, imo, or a lot of folks, including me, won't think she can win or win as big as we need to win to get change.

I actually think Biden is the best bet we have to get capitalism working for everyone optimally, for lots of reasons.
