Michael Moore convinced me. He is not endorsing Warren in the clip, but rather, endorsing a progressive "street fighter." The clip is a few weeks old.
I'll vote for the Dem nominee in 2020, whoever it is. But I'm with Warren through the primaries.

Nader also accepted GOP money which he used to run attack ads against Gore on the west coast. The Gore campaign had to divert funds from states like Florida to counter those ads. Nader helped hand that election to Bush just as Jill Stein helped Trump in 16.

I'm sorry to anybody who thinks that, because I believe Trump is a menace to the United Sates, the world, and people in general.
I think every decent person and Democrat should support the eventual nominee like their livelihood depended on it.
Republicans are more loyal to their nominee than Democrats traditionally as well. Democrats love to parse out levels of left wing street cred and eventually end up with Republican state controlled legislatures, executives, and Donald Trump.

Moore was the asshole who said a vote for bush is a vote for Gore

Warren is a good candidate. She doesnt hire people who voted for Jill Stein, there is only one candidate that is doing that, and that same candidate embraces Sarandon to his campaign who couldnt resist taking a shot at Warren

Warren has too many extravagant and sweeping plans at a time when existing social programs are struggling, broken, underfunded, and the deficit is sky high. She could address student debt without giving away the store. And what about mortgage debt? I hope she prunes her many plans and focuses on a select three to four. They would take up a two term presidency.

Snip...
President Barack Obama announced Vice President Joe Biden will oversee the Administrations implementation of the Recovery Acts provisions and the appointment of Earl Devaney as Chair of the Recovery Act Transparency and Accountability Board in a meeting with the Nations Governors this morning.
Snip...
"Beginning this week, Vice President Biden will meet regularly with key members of my cabinet to make sure our efforts are not just swift, but efficient and effective. Hell also work closely with our nations Governors, and our Mayors, and everyone else involved in this effort, to keep things on track. The fact that I am asking the Vice President to personally lead this effort shows how important it is for our country and our future to get this right, and I thank him for his willingness to take on this critical task," President Obama told a group of Governors this morning.

I will vote for whoever we nominate but I think Warren would be the best President. As I have said before, I think Joe is too old and he is already prone to gaffes, Two terms would end with him in his mid 80s. Do we really want to risk that ? (6,280 posts).... is not something to be thrown around lightly here at DU. First of all, where in my post was Warren's name even mentioned? Second, where in my post did I say Michael Moore was supporting Elizabeth Warren? If you are referring to the ridiculous bulshit about Warren's Republican past, you do understand that an individual's character and ideology is made up of multiple views and not based upon one singular issue? My comparison of Michael Moore to Turner and Sarandon has nothing really to do with any of the candidates. It is my opinion that whatever Michael Moore says has an underlying agenda behind it. I simply don't trust him, just as I don't trust Turner or Sarandon.

I'm afraid that a candidate pushing Medicare for All will sink us in the general election and we will get another four years of president pussygrabber. I'm guessing that same fear is probably causing a lot of polling toward Joe Biden that we are seeing now.
I would love nothing more than for Elizabeth Warren to be our president, but I'm not convinced she will win the general election because of MFA. Also, much of what she wants to do she suggests paying for with a wealth tax that is certain to be subjected to a challenge in the courts. I hope I am wrong about her electability, because I'm also concerned about a scenario in which Sanders' support consolidates behind Warren that is enough for her to win the nomination. I know its still "early" but in the early going its looking to me like a strong probability of coming down to a race between Biden and Warren.
