behind her and ride the Me Too” wave.

But women are smarter than that. Sexual Harassment is nuanced and you can’t go throwing every transgression into the same pile. Equating the behavior of Halperin to what Franken was accused of is disingenuous and dishonest.

Sen. Gillibrand should be thinking about redemption. For herself.

It just cements in my mind how weak her decision-making can be. I'll vote for her if she is the nominee, but I think the odds of that are very small.

into her Senate seat. She did great harm to the Democratic Party. No doubt in my mind she convinced Senator Schumer to ask for Al’s resignation. It is comforting to hope that she will wield less influence when she returns to her day job.

Schumer didn't like Franken (from what I've read), so I can easily imagine that instead of her convincing Schumer, he worked with her on this.

Either way, the idea that women would be single issue votes on this is insulting to women. It's like when republicans thought having a woman on their presidential ticket would get woman's votes irregardless of the woman they chose.

Irony: spell check just replaced "Schumer" with "Schemer"

How’s that, Ms. Kirsten? Please be specific. Tell us EXACTLY what Franken did, and the context in which he did it, that earns him the disgrace that you helped promulgate. Please, no convenient deletions or oversights. Get to it , Ms. Kirsten. And while you’re at it, tell us what exactly qualifies you as an agent of redemption, and why your approval matters.
