Delaney Makes Corny DNC-Thanos Comparison Over Debate Rules: 'Trying to Get Rid of Half the Field'
https://www.mediaite.com/election-2020/john-delaney-makes-corny-dnc-thanos-comparison-over-dnc-debate-rules-trying-to-get-rid-of-half-the-field/2020 presidential candidate John Delaney compared the Democratic National Committee to the Marvel super villain Thanos for excluding him from an upcoming debate because he didnt qualify.
The way the DNC decided to do these debates is they effectively cut out half the field. I dont think ultimately voters want that to happen, Delaney told MSNBCs Chris Jansing, who asked if he felt the DNC was trying to rush candidates out of the race.
Theyre kind of like Thanos, snapping their finger and trying to get rid of half the field, Delaney said, referencing the main villain of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Some of the outcomes dont make any sense. We have sitting Democratic governors who are not in the debate. We have sitting members of Congress who are not in the debate. We need a debate. We need an incredibly important debate about issues that havent even been touched on in this primary. Foreign policy, trade, all these very important issues that really havent even come up, he continued.

No matter how much you expose a product to people by advertising it or marketing it greatly, if the consumer doesnt like it, they dont like it.

Back in...(checks Google)...July 2017?
What was he doing for all those months when he was the SOLE candidate?

Not going to get much meaningful debate with 20 people giving 30 second responses, and Chuck Todd not letting them finish their thoughts.
