My wife had total knee replacement last summer. The total hospital bill was $64,591. After Medicare, we had to pay $1340. Plus, doctors cost us about $380. We do not have a Medicare supplement. That is from Medicare only.
Medicare costs her about $100/month. Disclosure: We do not buy drug coverage. We spend our money on health food and selected supplements. We avoid junk foods and trash foods.
I recommend health practices plus Medicare.
