(343 posts)I have come to believe that the Democrats need a stark contrast to Trump / Pence. Something like Warren / Booker would do it. Democrats need to go to voters and say this is a choice. Stick with dotard and robot boy or go with progressive ideas. I think that would win. Who doesn't like Joe Biden? But he is old, and a relic from the Obama years. He thinks he can be a nice guy and work with the GOP if he is elected. Wrong. We need a candidate that can stick it up the GOP's rear with a candle on it. Warren fits the bill. If it is Biden, then it is two old white guys on stage. Biden looks old. Trump has never done a lick of work in his life and looks it. The debate "moderators" still can't handle Trump. He will lie, call names, and probably eat fried chicken while Biden rambles on. Out of the field, Warren looks like the best bet to me. Trump would try his "Pocahontas" routine on her, but she would let him have it in a way I don't think Biden can. Of course, if any of the GOP field in 2016 had literally just kicked Trump's ass for name calling we wouldn't be in this mess.
