(42,862 posts)It doesn't matter to me WHERE they attack Democrats and the Democratic party... if that's a candidate's "claim to fame" or their "gimmick", then they are disqualified. I will not support any candidate who smears, trashes, denigrates and lies about Democrats and the Democratic party.

(42,862 posts)Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

(17,390 posts)Bernie is happy to go on Fox News. Heck, in the last primaries, Bernie was eagerly seeking to debate Hillary Clinton on Fox News and wanted to debate Trump on Fox News even when he was not the nominee.

President Donald Trump tweeted about the 2020 hopeful's appearance Tuesday morning, writing, "So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on @Fox News."
"Not surprisingly," he added, moderator Bret Baier and "the 'audience' was so smiley and nice. Very strange."
He also seemed taken aback by the addition of the network's newest contributor, former Democratic National Committee head Donna Brazile. Trump has repeatedly ripped Brazile for tipping rival Hillary Clinton off about a question before one of her 2016 debates with Sanders.

I don't see how it's a bad thing to go on that network to try to peel votes away from Trump. It seems like a very good idea to me.

The rest of the media, of course, immediately buried the story, rather than follow up on it.
