From where I stand (and admittedly it's pretty far away from where things might end up), looks like a real plan.

That took guts!

him thus far not because he isn't a good and qualified candidate, but because I prefer the positions that some of the other equally qualified candidates (in my view) hold on issues important to me more.

The Democratic presidential candidates are competitors, not enemies. Regretfully, this sentiment often gets overlooked in the heat of an argument.

But what are the chances the repubs in Congress will let these things pass? A wish list, for sure, look how difficult it was for President Obama to get the ACA passed. It has to be greatly watered down and was ultimately based on Romneycare in Massachusetts in order to get passed at all. Rebuilding on something that already is law seems to me to be the most practical and doable.

Snowy. I'm not sure I don't think public option isn't a viable next step....but I'm proud of my candidate for devising her plan that is receiving positive responses from people in the know who I trust. May be "aspirational" right now.

That leaves room for acceptable and perhaps sustainable compromise. There is also value in public awareness and support gained by promoting this plan. If anyone can do that effectively, it's Elizabeth Warren.
