1. Yeah, everyone in the health insurance industry will make the same money and the same profits

And health insurance will become reasonable by magic, with all those people sucking on the same holes in the same pockets.

2. Disingenuous for him to cut off the next few words of her response...

"...and some will work for Medica..." -- sounded more like Medicard than Medicare, but also sounded like she didn't quite finish saying the word, so it may have been a bit of a stumble, but I think the point is, with a greatly expanded federal healthcare system, there will be a great need for employees there as well, and that was part of her answer.

5. An expanded Medicare workforce will be contracted
Sat Nov 2, 2019, 02:41 PM

And who would be in a great position to provide those contracted services? Health Insurance companies. They’ll still make billions providing administrative and processing services to a M4A system. The federal government won’t add millions of federal employees.

European countries and Canada still have a thriving insurance industry and successful companies. Insurance companies can still offer property/casualty (home/auto) and life insurance and annuity products.

If anyone thinks that we are going to have a working healthcare administration that forego the skills of rank and file health insurance industry workers is just blind.
