A majority of Americans approve of the ACA. The provisions which extended eligibility to keep children on policies until 26 and for expanding Medicaid to more people are what made it a winner. Nobody lost insurance coverage from their employers, while others retained the right to purchase individual policies from private insurers or participate in the government exchanges. While the ACA isn't perfect, it is damn good. If we elect a president who is committed to improving the ACA, then it has the potential of being the most important piece of legislation passed in this century.

and more popular.. for those invaluable reasons you stated, TexasT!

That's what President Obama was going for.. a strong foundation to build a much better health care system for all Americans. There's no reason to tear it down like some are trying to do.

So many repubs have tried to kill it and it just keeps on helping people in spite of all the repub forces against it.
