https://www.chicagotribune.com/politics/elections/ct-nw-elizabeth-warren-black-women-endorsement-20191107-f44umcmfubgl3lp2dpmk3cvgvu-story.htmlIn a letter released Thursday, the group Black Womxn For says its endorsement is an extension of activism that has helped shape a progressive agenda in the 2020 Democratic primary. The group calls Warren a leader and partner with a proven track record and understanding of structural racism and inequality who is willing to be held accountable.
The group's director, Angela Peoples, says she hopes the letter will encourage other black women to support the Massachusetts senator publicly.
Warren is scheduled to visit the historically black college North Carolina A&T State University later Thursday.

(14,624 posts)Most of them have been behind Warren for months, stating that she is the only candidate hitting on issues that matter to the black community, and black women in particular.
It is said that no Democrat can win the nomination without the black community. I will go one further and state that no Democratic candidate can win without the support of black women.

(8,144 posts)cis women to support progressive change for their own community and all AA communities, from police and justice system reforms to economic, through activism. They have been receptive to Sanders and Harris as well, but their endorsement of Warren is ringing.
Warren still needs support from AA leaders and communities representing the larger AA electorate.
Black Womxn for has a Facebook page on their Warren endorsement, activism, and events.
