Stuck in the middle...of the party

I am undecided, especially when it comes to paying for health care. I think Biden doesn’t go far enough and everyone having Medicare for all goes too far.
I think we should go to non-profit health insurance companies. That’s the way insurance companies used to be, before the profiteers took over. This would be much easier to implement, IMO. Also, we should implement price controls, especially on hospitals and Big Pharm. I am mystified that no candidate (that I know of) has thought of this.

primary today, I would vote for:

the ACA. Before we get into details, I have to say that usually I listen rather than argue my views about healthcare.

Whatever the outcome, it is going to be compromised, argued and hammered into something we can't yet foresee. Let's hope the Democrats can prevail and come up with something that is acceptable to most.

The rest of the government is going to act as a moderating influence on whatever proposals any future president suggests. IMO, if Warren/Sanders are pushing for medicare for all, then at the end of the game we may get a public option and tighter regulations on insurance companies. If there were a candidate pushing for exactly the policies you want, then be assured, by the time they got through congress, they wouldn't go far enough.
