Between 9/11; an unnecessary, misdirected war; putting everything on a credit card, advocating for POW torture while nearly bringing the US and the world to the brink of a financial catastrophe is hardly what I call 'normal.'

Republicans can fantasize but as Dems (including Mayor Pete) we are not required to view the past with GOP-colored glasses.

Homelessness, cost of health care, never-ending wars, the foster care system, unsecured voting machines, crumbling infrastructure, an obscene amount of money in the election system, student loan debt, lack of affordable housing, etc.

I don’t know anyone who thinks our systems haven’t failed.
