Cleveland, Cincinnati and Youngstown here in Ohio to name a few are horrible...I wouldn't send my dog there. And it won't be fixed in time to help current students...thus our Charter schools are often a better choice for poor parents. There needs to be more regulation and funding should not come at the expense of Public Schools.

They can refuse to take special ed students.
They can accept you and then expel you and keep the state money. Which is why we now have 2 count days each year.
Public school have to have remedial classes for math and reading because of the charter schools.
In our area, charter schools are k - 8 and students must transfer to public high school.

or what they were protesting. I was on the other side of the gym and then a counter chant started to drown them out.
