Joe Biden announces 4 Rhode Island endorsements

Four Rhode Island elected officials endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday in his bid for the Democraric presidential nomination, Biden’s campaign announced.

Lt. Gov. Dan McKee, Central Falls Mayor James Diossa, state Sen. Louis DiPalma, D-Middletown, and state Rep. Carlos Tobon, D-Pawtucket, have thrown their support behind the former vice president and U.S. senator from Delaware....

DiPalma told The Journal in July he was supporting the former vice president.

“We’re proud to have this diverse group of public servants working by our side to defeat Donald Trump, to restore the soul of this country, and to reunite Americans to get things done,” said Greg Schultz, Biden’s campaign manager said in a news release.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
