My best hope to see a woman president in my lifetime. This is short and sweet.

I am voting for Elizabeth Warren. She has a very good chance of winning our CT primary. But in the general I am voting for our likely candidate Biden, who might ask Warren to be his vp. If Biden serves only one term, I get what I want.

And yes, I know all the arguments against her. I don't care. I'm sick of gaming all this out in a hundred different scenarios.

Here's hopin'.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I would much rather see her back in the senate where I think she could be much more effective as a member of the leadership team, maybe even majority leader.

My choice for VP no matter who is our nominee is Tammy Duckworth. For one thing if Warren spends 8 years as VP she will be 78. I believe Duckworth is @ 52 now so she would be @60 and in prime age to run. Not sure what TD's physical capability for the stresses of the presidency would be.

I don’t think Biden would pick Warren. It’s a little sad to me if that’s how we get our first woman president when I feel that she’s a better candidate, so deserves the votes now. I would really like to see a woman win 2020, the 100 year anniversary of women getting the vote.

Priorities.

Absolutely vote for Warren if it looks good when the time comes. But before voting, better do a due diligence check to make sure it couldn't lead to the nomination of someone who's helped elect Trump once and could conceivably lead to his reelection.

Don't think the nomination will come to that, but things are dangerously crazy these days and subject to toxic manipulation.

I'm seen too many elections to even bother. I learn about the main candidates, figure out who I should and shouldn't support, and then wait to see who's going to be available to me when it's time to vote.

But until 2016 I never had to worry that people like Putin were using our elections, promoting and taking down the candidates available to us, and subverting the understanding of voters in order to destroy the nation our grandchildren will inherit. When time comes to vote, primary and GE, I'll do it to defeat the deadly serious "gaming" of our enemies foreign and domestic.
