Gabbard agrees with Tucker Carlson that Hillary Clinton is a neocon: 'You're not imagining'

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), a 2020 White House hopeful, agreed with Fox News host Tucker Carlson's description of former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton late Wednesday as a "neocon."

"So, whatever you think of Hillary, and ... I think she's capable in certain ways. I'm not — don't think everything is about her is bad, but kind of a full-blown neocon, no? Or am I imagining that?" Carlson asked Gabbard during an appearance on his show.

"No, you're not imagining," Gabbard responded. "I think everybody knows and understands that she is a warmonger.

"And it is her record," Gabbard added, "that is proof of that."

The discussion came after Iran this week struck Iraqi military bases housing U.S. military personnel in retaliation for a U.S. drone strike that killed a top Iranian general. After the attacks, the Twitter hashtag "ivotedforHillaryClinton" trended on Twitter.

Carlson argued that the former senator would be more likely to go to war with Iran based on her past remarks, and played a clip of a 2008 interview with ABC in which Clinton said, "If Iran were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel, what would our response be? I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran."

Gabbard said she agreed that the hashtag was contrary to Clinton's past comments about Iran.

"I think everyone knows and understands that she is a warmonger, and it is her record," said Gabbard, who clashed with Clinton late last year when the former secretary of State claimed the Hawaii lawmaker was a "favorite of the Russians."

She is basically the outward face of this group. Her money gets funneled to a member who lives in the back of beyond in Washington State. She claims to be Hindu, but it is an American sect no one in India would recognize. She is registered as a Dem but based on her increasing affiliation with FOX, I'd say if she's a Democrat, I'm the Queen of Romania.

Her background has been extensively researched, and I invite you to read through the multiple threads I have gathered via DU. I will edit this post to add a link.

My contribution to a Sept 16, 2019 post:

Time to share and update my Tulsi bookmarks again. Links for those who wish to know more

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100211695834

In addition, there is a Hawaiian journalist who has been doing some deep digging on Tulsi's background, and one of our Hawaii DUers has posted those links.

That young lady is not all that she seems, by a long shot. She was groomed from childhood to be the public face of a very undemocratic philosophy.

Here it is, from Mahina, with many additional links

Tulsi piqued my interest because she is from my old home state, Hawaii, but she seemed off somehow. Attractive, to be sure, bright enough, but when my husband (who is the more intuitive of us) expressed a lot of reservations about her affect, I listened.

Then DUer Mahina posted a really in-depth piece of journalistic research by a local (that is, local to Hawaii) journalist, and it was eye-popping. That's where you should start.

Because Tulsi just has not received that kind of national scrutiny -- or rather, there are scattered articles but they never rise to the public level of, say, Hillary's emails -- and because DU has always been a news-aggregator, I decided to start archiving and sharing.

Hope it helps.
