ASSIGNMENT FOR THE WEEK.--- ready?

Post something, or 2 or 3 things, positive about a candidate who is NOT your first choice for President of the U S of A.

OR

If that is too hard--

State your favorite ending to a Mahler Symphony .

I'll go first and choose the OR category.

As purely 'balls to the wall" as the timpani parts are at the end of #3, ( and I have to admit to a certain prejudice here...)

I will choose #2...

2. Pete Buttigieg is the most gifted communicator since President Clinton

and the most intelligent person on the primary ticket since Obama. He makes it look easy. If I had to have any of the candidates represent me, it would be Pete - always on message, never puts a foot wrong.

Bill had a rare ability to make the complicated and complex, clear and compelling as Barack noted in his 2008 DNC acceptance speech "To President Clinton, who last night made the case for change as only he can make it". Buttigieg shares that. Neither can touch Obama as an orator. Obama's 2004 DNC speech, and 2008 NH "Yes We Can" address, changed the course of American political history. My opinion. YMMV.

Bloomberg has a great advertising group.

Sanders has a great understanding of the state our country is in, and where we eventually need to be to avoid greater disaster.

People who I know would fight for all of us.

Pete is smart and thoughtful and I love his husband!

Amy is a tough smart woman who could easily take on Trump.

Bernie really wants to help all of us get ahead and will work hard for it.
