When the national polling averages are used in states that have no polls the delegate came up as:

Biden -- 1,937
Sanders -- 1,000
Warren -- 953
Buttigieg -- 46
Klobuchar -- 28
Steyer -- 15

I will state that some of the candidates are under-weighted in certain states and over-weighted in other states. Each of us will have our own scenarios and projections to make. For instance, I think that Biden is underweighted in the southern states and Minnesota, while he is overweighted in New York and Pennsylvania. Therefore, I think the delegate counts are somewhat closer than what is stated above.

A lot will depend on whether or when candidates withdraw from the race. It's certainly a guessing game at this point, but at this point I'm inclined to believe that Biden still retains a plurality by a few hundred delegates after factoring in my own projections.

I'll also note that while I stay in a limited radius of my apartment, I have not seen any campaign signs or bumper stickers for any of the candidates and the Texas primary is at the beginning of March. I'm hoping to venture out to one of the coffeeshops where I live to see if I can get a better clue about what is occurring, but I do live in a reliably red area. I live about a half-mile from a large junior college campus and about four miles from a major state university, plus I saw virtually no political activity at my college homecoming back in October. Other than one student who was wearing a Bernie T-shirt at the college homecoming, there hasn't been any other political expression shown.
