1. This has been a very difficult topic for him, historically.

Quote from the article linked in the op.

“ It is not good enough for somebody to say, 'I'm a woman, vote for me.' No That is not good enough.”

Sanders history with women is very similar to Gabbard and LGBQT rights. Both are on record with some of the most horrendous comments one can make about referenced topics, yet the overall history of their votes is pretty good. They put their personal feeling to the side as it conflicts with governmental influence protections.

There are quotes from Sanders about women that are not allowed on DU. It’s that bad. His voting record is not as bad.

3. The calmest response I can manage is "Who is saying that?" Don't "paraphrase". Don't

"Interpret". That's what Rush and his ilk do.

Just cite to some example of someone saying "I'm a man. Vote for me" or its REASONABLY understood equivalent.

Sanders---the obvious target of your OP--- is not my top pick, but we do not need to creating memes for Trump ads to use against ANY of our candidates.

I am not usually that careless, but guess I was having bad day. Again, I am sorry for my previous response.
