#RefundWarren Trends After Warren Accuses Sanders of Saying a Woman Couldn't Beat Trump

The hashtag #RefundWarren trended on Twitter as supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders encouraged anyone who had donated to Senator Elizabeth Warren's 2020 campaign through the ActBlue platform to request a refund.

Some Twitter users posted screenshots purporting to show ActBlue processing refunds of their donations to Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat. Several screenshots of refund request emails appeared to show ActBlue stating that they were "currently experiencing high volumes."

While some claimed to be requesting refunds, a number of Warren supporters using the hashtag said it had encouraged them to donate more money to her campaign.

It was not immediately clear how many Warren donor refunds ActBlue is processing or if the refunds were offset by higher donations. Newsweek asked ActBlue for comment by email and will update this article if one is provided.

Neither her accusation nor this refund crap helps us in any way.

We’re into some circular firing squad shit here.

Fighting amongst our self's only benefits Republicans.

No matter who gets the nomination we all have to get behind that candidate.

A whole lot of this infighting is being driven by the Russians seeking to divide us. To create chaos.

Please think twice before posting anything negative about any democratic candidate.

Both the accusations against Bernie and Warren are being amplified to create some kind of appearance, if not the reality, of internal warfare. The best way for those two to combat it is to do a joint appearance and say enough is enough - they're on the same page, and a relatively minor dustup is being used to try to basically swiftboat them both.

These people were against Warren from the jump because she was ruining Bernie's shot at beating a split. Many were still pissed that she didn't just endorse him in 2016. Hell, Nina Turner publicly called her out for that during Bernie's post heart attack NY Rally.

I cannot participate in the destruction of the Democratic Party. I honestly think he will be a third party spoiler candidate. He has a history of winning Democratic nominations and then turning them down. I can not support him.

I was planning on posting it along with why Senator Warren remains my number 1 choice, but it has changed by 2nd and 3d choices. It's a long primary season.

As always, we will support the winner, whoever it may be.

When we should expect the republicans and russians to start interfering with our elections and what we should watch out for?

That’s ok, we have plenty of time to worry about that. A little bickering among friends can’t hurt in the meantime can it?

As an aside i just learned that one million moms isn’t really one million moms...

I’m not claiming this dust up was engineered but our adversaries might be amplifying it and other arguments.

I don’t see how this helps us in November which is really all that matters. The bitterness will hurt.

Maybe I should have spelled it out.
