Iowa Still Doesn't Matter.

In fact, it matters even less now, since its results are heavily tainted.

Bloomberg won in Iowa, and he wasn't even part of it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Iowa was always rather overblown, but it does matter somewhat from a momentum standpoint and the small number of delegates awarded.

Once the results are 100%, most people are not likely going to care how we got there. People outside of pundits and political junkies will shrug and move on like they always do. This will be especially true once more primaries start taking place.

As it was in the news going on 3+ days now, good for Sanders, Buttigieg, neutral for Warren I would say, and hurts Biden badly.

I always forget that most people are not really interested in the minutia of primary politics.

Perhaps that means any large bump really needed to happen with a big night win, however I don't know the levels of interest, or how well people research the candidates, or how many are interested in seeing the final outcome of Iowa.

Just have to keep looking out at the trends on a weekly basis.

Not too worried for Bernie right now as he has a huge movement to support him and get out the news, be it in person, or online.

It's not rational but it is real. Joe can't afford another loss like that and stay credible. Winning builds confidence. Losing doesn't.

Look at how these events are being reported. Pete's amazing victory is minimized and Bernie's second place is played as a huge victory. The media loves Bernie and dislikes Biden and it shows.

Joe Biden

The media dislikes the former VP?

See much of the press engaging in false equivalency, fear of the frothy right and an inability to say "you lie" to GOP surrogates who are blatantly lying.

Bias against Joe Biden is not something I have seen outside of the "alternative facts" coming from right wing propaganda mills like Fox News.

If you mean the press should shut down the GOP's big Biden lie, you are right. It is a free press' duty to sift the truth from the lies. Yet, that press failure isn't bias against Joe Biden.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
