He’s got a future. It’s no mistake he called Joe. I expect he’ll be brought in with an eye to a bright future.

think Sanders will do that? I know his supporters hate to hear this, but many Dems consider him a user who will leave the Dem Party as soon as he can. He attacks the Dem Party too much. They have no idea just how PO'd this makes many of us.

is Gay...and she saw a proud Gay man who had a loving husband (and an adorable dog) run for the highest office in the land. She has been really having a hard time in Ohio since Trump gives permission for the haters to attack her and others. Her unity group in college was disbanded because no faculty member would act as a sponsor...not good on their resumes the more honest ones said...had magat protesters at her college for the few things that happened this year...so thank you Pete...now lets get the bum out (Trump).

This is good news for Joe Biden!

Pete was, and is, awesome. The job I am hoping for him in a Biden Administration: U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. There, he could get a huge amount of foreign policy experience, and it would ready him for a Secretary of State Job, which might be the fastest way for him to get to the White House. Hillary Clinton left her Senate position to become Secretary of State for a very good reason--foreign policy experience is worth its weight in gold for Presidential candidates. Foreign Policy experience will make Mayor Pete twice as formidable a candidate. Do you think Mayor Pete might be able to put his seven foreign languages to use as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.?

I had been uncommitted simply because I wasn't able to gauge which one of these capable people had the best chance to win. I started out believing Warren might be the one. She has the right message and the temperament, along with the ability to communicate that message convincingly and on a human level. But week in and week out, she wasn't rising in the polls, and it became pretty clear to me that she had the same problem that Hilary did. And Kamala. And Amy. That problem?: She wasn't born with a dick and a set of balls. The misogyny in this country astounds and stupefies me, actually. It's ingrained. Endemic. It's been reinforced and enforced throughout this society through the "balm of the masses": religion. Especially evangelical Christianity, by using one of Jesus's charges to his followers (on only one occasion that I'm aware of) for, "women to yield to their husbands". It's kept women as lowly chattel for centuries, and the remaining vestiges of it linger on today.

That said, as I began to consider whom might be a more formidable opponent for tRump, I began to think Bloomberg might have been the one, with his financial wherewithal, but his debate performance was so woeful and Warren's so powerful that I had pretty much made up my mind that I'd vote for her in the Texas primary. That's what I fully intended to do, until I started looking at the poll numbers and consider the deep misogyny of the American electorate and resolved to vote for Biden, which I did last Friday and after considering his very sound debate performance that week as well.

debate. Joe should call President Porky out, or at least give him a good shove. Get right in his ugly orange face on national TV. I mean a real stare down for the stuff Dotard said about his family. Sure wish Gavin Newsome from Ca. was running so he could tower the Dummy in Chief.

Consider the moment. For us flaming liberals, this is not our moment. This country needs to recuperate from its assault by Trump. We're battered and bruised. I love Bernie, but we just can't handle more upheavals. Biden will give the country a chance to heal. A big dose of normalcy and moral considerations is what we need.
