Point of fact ... the last time a Democrat who was even 60 years old won POTUS was Truman, and he was exactly 60.

Since then, there's not been 1 that was over 55 (Johnson), and 3/5 were in their 40's.

all required to take GOVERNMENT in high school. I believe they removed that requirement the late seventies or early eighties. They also resent highly qualified well educated experienced career officials and political appointees.

I believe the optimal range in age for the President is 40-70, but we have had and will have people that are older.
