We have one that's almost close enough to see from our house.

We try not to go there very often because, well, fat and calories! haha

My two favorites in the fast food realm are Culvers and Dairy Queen.

Ever had those? Is WhatABurger better?

Dairy Queen seems to vary a bit, depending on location. Whataburger is probably a step up, but comparable. Both are really popular here in TX. Braum's is also good - regional place, mostly in OK and TX.

Culvers is a decent joint AFA fast food goes. And I love their o-rings ...

Oh, and Habit Burger also has real good rings. That's actually a really good FF joint IMHO.

Sometimes, that's why I go there.

We have a lot of local places that have really good rings, too, but we often still end up at WB.

I think that the meat is of a better quality. I haven't seen a Culvers in Texas so I can't compare.

Whataburger also has some limited promotion burgers. I liked their A-1 steak sauce burger and I also saw one burger with avocado on it. My current favorite is the Swiss Mushroom Burger.

A trip to Whataburger usually runs between $5 - $8 per person depending on what choices are made (burger, drink, fries/onion rings). They used to serve beef and chicken fajitas about fifteen years ago and they have a fairly decent selection of salads.

They all closed then. But when in Tallahassee I always go. And I generally don’t do fast food. But they pile on the lettuce and onions with mustard which I love.

One is about 1.5 miles to the southwest, while the other is about 2.0 miles to the southeast near the HEB that I shop at.
