Really? This from a United States Senator?

That, imo, is a counter-productive statement.

I don't think attacking Biden as a "Washington Insider" is the best strategy.

Warren is a Washington insider, having served in the Senate and for the Obama administration, and I think that's something to be proud of.

First, I don't totally agree with what she said (no, I don't always have to agree with everything my candidate says). But, in the larger context, I think she's trying to differentiate herself from both Bernie and Biden by splitting the difference. Unfortunately, most voters never hear nuance, so that's that.

But Bernie isn't really an outsider.. he has been in Washington for like 29 years now.

And being an insider only became a pejorative when people were told how evil the federal government was (Ronald Raygun).

I have never understood people who think they can vote for someone who doesn't understand politics, who is an "outsider", I wish they would think about it and answer one simple question, would you hire anyone who has never been in the industry where your company operates to run it? I bet not, I bet most people would want someone who understands their industry.

Not sure who it was, but he/she is a Biden supporter who answered to a Sanders supporter who was calling for civility here in DU, and he/she said "politics is like a boxing match, you give and you take". I don't agree completely with that, I think those on the same team should not be fighting at all, but if you punch and you get punched back you can't complain.

I would take Warren in a heart beat. I am getting behind Biden. He is a Washington insider and no reason to get defensive for someone saying the truth.

Sanders establishment bullshit comment is all Democrats and the whole of the Democratic Party and all us Democrats that vote for it. That is bullshit.

She is staring at finishing last on Super Tuesday when she was a front runner not that long ago.

Maybe a little verbal flailing with that choice of words.

They've all been insiders - even Bloomberg with his money - in one way or another for some time now.

The one lesson that could be learned from her candidacy is what happened to her when she rolled out M4A could happen to Bernie in the general when the GOP get their knives out.

They have both served in Congress in some sort or another. For Elizabeth Warren to say that indicates that after today, she may find herself on the short end of the delegate count.
