4. Not really. He was winning it by 20% just a week ago and he'll win by single digits now.

Without the early vote, he wouldn't have won CA either.

Biden will be the national delegate leader after tonight.

It will be that Californians have been mailing in ballots for a month, and they can’t change them. Bet there’s a lot of sorry folk in California right now. And 67% of California (stupidly, IMO) vote by mail.

We won’t have final votes from CA for a week. Mail ballot deadline is not till Friday.

I know a lot of folks who voted early and wanted to switch to Biden from warren. That's how it goes. Who knew things were going to turn upside down.

The media overreacted to the first few states. The media is so disappointing. I expected that Biden would be a challenge. Bernie did well enough tonight to keep going for sure.

California banked a ton of its vote early, when Biden didn't look like he would do all that well (at least if you forgot that IA and NH are unrepresentative and IA and NV are caucuses). Different story now, and if CA didn't have VBM its results would likely reflect that.

He’ll win, but his delegate haul will be less than he needs to balance out what’s coming up in the next several primaries.

20. Bernie got 46% of the primary vote in 2016

The primary was in June. It was basically clear that HRC would be the nominee. Let the numbers come in and we can see how much the CA numbers reflect a strong support for Bernie.

We are a very liberal state but the early voting numbers helped Bernie, same day results will be the key.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
