(4,341 posts)If Obama said it, is it wrong to use it? I am just curious. Not sure when Obama said it.
Has Obama endorsed Biden?

(4,494 posts)it is hypocritical in the extreme to then invoke the greatest icon of that establishment.
As LexVegas said, no shame.

(4,341 posts)It will be so beautiful that it will make a lot of people tear up...
I don't see anything wrong with it, if Obama said it, not sure when he did, but it is OK.
Obama has also said wonderful things about Biden, and I am sure we will see some of those.
By the way, the comment that Bernie people do no like Obama is not true, I would love to see some proof of that.

(33,036 posts)Strikes me as an attempt to imply that Sanders was favored by Mr.O. and is facile.
And Pres O being the head of the DNC, there will be many recordings of his supporting Dems.
YMMV.

(58,785 posts)our many honorable liberal Democrats.
Sanders is trying to deceive new potential supporters who like Obama. But Sanders' long-time followers know, and apparently approve, his frequently expressed hostility and contempt for Obama. He even called for primarying Obama after one term.
Every attempt to deceive is a betrayal of those who trust him. And no, "the Democrats" DON'T "do it too."
"I am not now, and never have been, a liberal Democrat." Not just stated but demonstrated every day.

(5,008 posts)destroy Obamas legacy by running against him in 2012 primary. You have to be a true snake to try to wrap yourself around someone you tried to destroy. Keep it up Bernie..that is not gonna work in Florida. Defend Castro some more.. Im glad Biden will have money now. He can run an ad as someone that TRULY had Obamas back.

It took Reid two conversations over the summer of 2011 to get Sanders to scrap the idea, according to multiple people who remember the incident, which has not been previously reported.
