(11,605 posts)She will probably wait until the end of the primaries. Her supporters seem to be split between Bernie and Biden as their second choice, and she'd kill any hopes of a future run if she endorsed Biden now.
If anything, I think she could do more good for the party if she were to endorse Bernie now, but then call for unity at the end if Biden has more votes/delegates. That would restore her credibility with the most strident of Bernie's supporters and give her more clout in calling for unity at the end. It would also help undercut the talk of Biden's endorsements being a form of rigging.

(8,964 posts)Temperamentally, Warren seems to align much closer to Biden. Pragmatically, I see them as being on the same page, progressive while recognizing that it will require majorities in both houses of Congress to make gains on health care, climate change, immigration reform, the futu.re of the Supreme Court, reproductive rights, and income inequality, among other issues. It's a presidential election year, but down ballot races will make or break these efforts. The party needs to come together sooner rather than later.

(43,148 posts)That is her strongest suit anyway. She made a lot of sense, but every question was rolled around in her very active hands in a caring way and then answers were stated. She rarely that I saw answered a question directly. I don't think average people bought into the process. Maybe it is a professorial habit. Any professor I had never worked that hard.

(22,063 posts)And I would hope for her to be in the Biden administration, perhaps Secretary of Education.
BUT--rethuglican MA governor will appoint a rethuglcan to replace her. We need every senator we have. Same reason I think Kamala Harris would be a great Atty General, but we can't lose a Dem senator right now.
