(945 posts)There is no way they avoid it. The US will never literally become a fascist dictatorship. Almost 250+ year of democracy is not that easy to overthrow. So, the republicans know that they will have to fight elections again at some point and if they enable an ACTUAL dictatorship they'd be finished.
