Biden Sends Klobuchar to Michigan

Joe takes no time getting his new surrogates out on the trail for him. Once a candidate withdraws they a somewhat short self lif unless used right away.
I wonder if Pete will get dispatched and where?

But getting Amy in the field this soon and running in advance of his own trip makes a ton of sense. If I was Joe I'd have her stop in North Dakota on the Way to Spokane and the Seattle suburbs.

would think she would want at least a week of rest before getting out there as a surrogate.

But as a primary voter for Klobuchar I am happy to see any indication that she might be VP.

i'm sure he's got a good deal with her for a plum position in the BIDEN administration. I love the sound of that!

6. She had 24 hours

And they cut tv and radio ads for Biden featuring her in Minnesota.

She is going to work hard for him to get the nomination.

And she would make a fantastic VP.

She shares his policies, his personality, brings in moderate suburban women, is from the Midwest region we need to win, and would make history as the first elected Female VP.

7. That was somewhat true in Minnesota for Super Tuesday

I don't know about the rest of the staff. But even before South Carolina the call script had changed subtly to emphasize getting to the polls and not so much getting to the polls for her.

I would not read too much of VP speculation into this though. While I'm sure she is on the short list, as she would have been anyway Bide will wait to see how the campaign plays before really getting into those thoughts.

Amy and Harris. Not Warren, due to age and the R governor problem.

I know there was a post on Catherine Marie Cortez Masto. But I’d hate to lose my Senator, and we need her incumbency in 2022. Nevada is not reliably blue yet.

And will depend on what he will need headed into the convention.

It will be a woman. But it will depend on if he needs an understudy at that point or needs a consolidator.
Klobuchar is the best positioned of the Senators because her expected replacement is Peggy Flanagan the current Minnesota Lt. Governor and a fantastic Talent.
