BERNIE'S BACK IN CHICAGO: My years here in Chicago significantly shaped my life. They gave me the opportunity to become involved in the civil rights movement, in the labor movement, in the peace movement. That is the struggle we carry on today. Live from Grant Park in Chicago:

They gave me the opportunity to become involved in the civil rights movement,
The extent of Bernie’s involvement in The Civil Rights Movement lasted about one year. By 1964, when college students were putting their lives on the line for Freedom Summer, Bernie retreated to VT where he sat out the ‘60s & ‘70s writing essays & doing carpentry.

So my question is this: What has he done for civil rights in the years since then? Anything specific that we should know about?

honest person? Maybe that dude is needed to search for an African American at a Bernie Sanders rally.

... but the attendance numbers certainly do not match the number of votes. It's all just a little bit of history repeating.
