Even if the woman mentioned was someone like Kellyanne Conway, who is obnoxious, it is ridiculous and sexist for a man to decide that it is his job to evaluate the attractiveness of a woman and to inform the public of his view. Nothing makes this ok -- and given that he was hired by a campaign that has been trying to refute any Bernie Bro culture, this hire makes no sense.

I know nothing else about him -- and from this feel no need to look at what other qualities he has. Either Sanders is having trouble getting people to work for him -- even as we collapsed to 2 campaigns - or this shows the type of people he is willing to hire.

So incredibly stupid and unnecessary. I wonder about the mindset of any political advisor in OUR party saying such a thing out loud.

To most Dems, Michelle is the most beautiful woman to ever walk the earth (excepting our mothers and daughters of course).

I want to cry just remembering her and missing her...

Mon Mar 9, 2020, 04:55 PM

This manufactured, superficial, mostly unattainable standard of female beauty. I see Republican men and women repeating how "classy" Melanoma is when on the very next tweet, I see melania posing nude. How do you reconcile that? And here's Michelle, rising from the south side of Chicago, going to Columbia, and then Harvard law. GIVE. ME. A BREAK. I wish we can teach people that brains and empowerment are FAR more attractive than a certain height/weight ratio or a certain symmetry in facial features. And teach our girls it's far more attractive to earn your own success and make your own money than relying on a man to do it for you. Arm candy isn't pretty. Nor is it classy.
