Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumAny data on where Warren's supporters are going?
Anecdotally, I'm watching most of my Warren supporting friends on FB either outright declaring their support for Biden or defending him against Sanders supporters.

(6,544 posts)It will be interesting to see if Sanders can break the typical 30-35% mark. If not, we'll know where most of it went

(7,611 posts)I went from Inslee to Warren to Steyer, back to Warren- and voted for Biden after Super Tuesday cleared the field. I supported Bernie in 2016, still agree with him on most issues, but consider him unelectable... and 2020, sadly, is about winning the damn election.

It looks like 43% of Warren voters will go to Sanders and 36% of Warren supporters will go to Biden. Since Warren apparently most recently represented about 15% of the Democratic vote, that means that each percentage point of the Warren vote represents (15/100) X.01 or .15% of the vote. Since the difference of 43% - 36% = 7%, 7% x .15 = 1.05%. So, the greater love for Sanders over Warren should help Sanders roughly about 1%, assuming that this is the ratio of Migration to Biden and Sanders voters.

(13,493 posts)Totally anecdotal. But I feel like she wants to work within the system rather than blow it up, and it feels sometimes like Sanders et al want to blow up the system.

(1,315 posts)However, if I were her supporter and seen the rat and snake emojis from Bernie's supporters and how she was treated, I'd have gone in the "anyone but Bernie" camp.
There was no reason to malign an intelligent, perspicacious, erudite and competent Senator from our party. Elizabeth Warren shall always remain a treasure of the Democratic party.
Shame on those who attacked her that way.
