What to watch for after tomorrow's primaries:

1. Watch for Bernie Sanders to let a bunch of his field people go.
2. Watch for some of Sanders' primary campaign leaders to say some pretty ugly things.
3. Watch Cenk Uygur's head literally explode.
4. Watch for Elizabeth Warren to endorse Joe Biden.

What not to watch for:
1. Don't expect Bernie Sanders to end his campaign. Instead, he'll say, "We're going to fight on and win!"
2. Don't expect congratulations for Joe Biden made by any Sanders supporters.
3. Don't count on an end to posts claiming Bernie is going to make a comeback in later primaries.
4. Don't look for Joe Biden to gloat over Sanders' poor results.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Perhaps my understanding of "across the board" is flawed. Maybe I misunderstood the term to mean that you agreed with the expectations of 'some pretty ugly' actions from Sanders' supporters. Apparently I was wrong. I apologize.

MineralMan, I've noticed you've exercised enormous restraint in not reminding us of how so many of your posts over the last several months painstakingly and largely predicted what's unfolded. I think it's very classy that you haven't gloated about it.

You kept to the facts and the math.

You calmed anxious people down.

You remained focused on the ultimate goal in November.

Though you do deserve for at least someone to acknowledge it.

If I were to vote in a presidential

Expect a more sensible government compared to the insanity of Trump, but no real challenge to the economic system that wrecks the working poor and, increasingly, the middle class.

19. No. Expect relief from most Democrats that we won't have a nominee too extreme to beat Trump. And
Mon Mar 9, 2020, 03:58 PM

then expect REAL progress toward goals shared by ALL Democrats and liberal independents, even if that achievable progress isn't quite as fast as you'd hoped.

Biden's agenda is more liberal than Hillary Clinton's. And he'll do everything possible to implement it.

And maybe he'll be able to create a coalition that includes enough of the political center that we'll able to see one Democratic administration followed by another, instead of a swing to the right in reaction.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
